A Lot of Everything in Photos!

To say the last month has been busy is an understatement.  It's been insane.  And to make it all just a little more crazy, I had to go and crack a tooth in half on New Year's Day at dinner.  It resulted in majorly painful surgery and might lead to even more surgery.  Happy 2013 to me!

But, that's okay.  I'm focused on finished my sketchbook for the Art House Coop's Sketchbook Project by January 15th... (eek!), getting back to the gym, and attempting to get ahead on DIY projects.  So there is definitely more than enough going on to keep my mind from focusing on the pain in my face.

We also celebrated Jen's birthday this week!  I'll leave it up to her to decide whether or not she share's her age.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  3. I have the low-down on salad cream - it is what many English people put on salad (instead of dressing), it's kind of like mayonnaise with a little more flavor to it. It's pictured next to Brit-style Heinz beans (you must've been in the English section of your market!). If you are a mayo lover, then you might like salad cream. Not being a mayo lover myself (I find it kina slimy and usually sub in sour cream or yogurt for mayo in sandwiches and recipes), salad cream is not my cup o' tea. However, those beans on toast (yes, just toast with heated up beans on top) is an English favorite I condone! Other goodies worthwhile in the English section of the market: Cadbury and other chocolates, PG Tips tea, and brown sauce (HP Sauce), which is good on burgers, sausages, and lots of other stuff!

Hope your tooth saga is over quickly and without additional pain! Happy Birthday to Jen!

  5. I spent 6 months living in Ghana where their definition of salad was a spoonful of shredded cabbage slathered in salad cream. Needless to say, I did not get my fill of greens there.
